I would like to purchase a 2007 Toyota Camry. I heard they are having trouble with the transmission. Have you had any reports of this? Have you heard of any problem with this car?

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Ann, I have read about some people having trouble with their transmissions. I have only seen a couple TSBs (technical service bulletins) for transmission fixes and no recalls. The best thing to do is to ask the dealer if the vehicle you're buying has had the latest updates and go from there. It doesn't seem to be affecting all the Camrys. Toyota makes a good product, I've been driving one for 19 years now. I can't say that I have any complaints! Lori Johnson
