My stereo was stolen out of my 1996 Chevy Blazer Friday morning. When they took the stereo, they also messed up the 4 wheel drive controls. Now I can*t get it out of 4 wheel drive. I found the owner*s manual and did what it said, but it didn*t work. What do you suggest?

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Patricia, It's possible that they did damage to the switch. The best thing for you to do is to take it to the dealership so that they can see how much damage was done and get the vehicle out of 4WD. As long as it's stuck in High 4WD you should be okay driving it to the dealership that way. I wouldn't drive much over about 45-50 mph. Check your owner's manual for recommended speeds on dry ground in 4WD. Lori Johnson
