Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Gail, Without the owners manual your best bet is to call a Buick dealership. Talk to someone in the parts department and ask them what type of coolant is used for your model vehicle. You may have to buy it from the dealership. Many manufacturers require the use of their coolant. Make sure that you only add the coolant to the overflow bottle. You should not open the radiator cap as you can compromise this pressurized system. Lori Johnson
