I have a Ford F250 diesel and having a problem with the starter burning out. This is the second one in 1 month. I go to crack motor and the starter just stars spinning unter it burns out. I can even take the keys out and still spins until I disconnect battery. Any thoughts?

Take a look at this article about starters, it should help you figure out what's going on. Good luck. http://ca.autos.yahoo.com/maintain/answer.php?starting_system3.html Lori Johnson
