What does it means when my check engine light goes on in my 2005 300 Chrysler Limited? It is still driving and I have not had any problems yet.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Melissa, The check engine comes on when it reads a problem with one of the sensors in the engine. Even though the vehicle may be running fine now, there is a problem somewhere. You'll need to take it to an ASE certified shop or dealership and have them connect a scan tool to the vehicle to find out what's wrong. This tool will register a code and from there they'll be able to diagnose what's wrong with the vehicle. Lori Johnson
