99 Buick LeSabre V6 61000 miles*
Driving, motor stops, roll to side of road, try to start motor, it starts...
Check engine light does not come on because all lights go out..Mechanic says, computer is blank..
Second problem, returning from a drive (shopping), park in driveway, shut off engine, after a few minutes start motor, will not start, check engine light is on (Yellow) not flashing.. Wait a few minutes car starts, check engine light is off...
Should we get rid of the car???? Mechanics (3times now) can\*t find anything wrong...
Unfortunately these kinds of problems can be the hardest to find. Because it's not leaving a code, the technician really needs to have the problem happen so they can test the components at the time.
Have you taken this vehicle to the dealership? Because they are trained only on this manufacturer they may be aware of an existing problem.
I think with no codes I would check your fuel pump first. Sometimes they can intermittently stop working, which means they're not sending gas to the injectors. Good luck with this problem. I know it can be frustrating.
