Hi! We just purchased a 1988 Toyota Camry as a dependable car for our son to drive to college. It has 139000 miles and is in good condition. The car has an automatic transmission and was pulled behind an elderly couple's motor home for many of the miles. It has a lube pump system for the lubrication of the transmission when it was towed and the transmission shifts very well. I am going to take it to the Toyota dealership this week to have a transmission fluid flush. Should I have the lube pump apparatus removed since we won't be towing it anywhere, or just leave it as it is since it seems to be fine now. Thank you!
