Am considering a Nissan Murano, but Consumer Reports say it requires premium fuel. Is this true, or just an option?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Patty Streeter, at AskPatty.com It is a requirement and will get the best fuel economy by using 91 octane fuel. Using less octane fuel will cause the engine to NOT perform optimally.
