My 1999 Chevy Malibu has a problem with its wipers. The motor has been replaced and we are still having problems with the driver side blade going out of sync! Any suggestions on where to find info or get an answer to this annoying problem!!??

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Jennifer, The wiper arms are usually attached to a bar that is connected to the wiper motor so that when the motor works, it pushes both wiper arms. If one arm is not moving the same speed as the other then you need to look at the splines that the wiper arm itself is attached to. Most likely the arm is not attached tightly to the splines of the bar connected to the motor and is slipping. Usually there is a cap that you can remove on the arm and then you should be able to see a bolt holding the arm to the splines. See if this is tight and make sure that the splines are not stripped. Both wiper arms should be moving at the same speed because they are attached to the same bar. Lori
