Patty Streeter, at AskPatty.com Barbara, This is something you will have to decide based on your own personal finance situation and your needs. If you feel you can finance a new vehicle, it sounds like that might be best for you. A vehicle with 206k miles on it will definitely not last you for many many more years, though if you have taken care of it well, it may still serve you well. The best thing to do as far as timing on when to buy is to wait until the end of the month because that is when the dealers need to move the vehicles off the lot. Good Luck!
