How do I know if I require a front end alignment? My tires are very noisy. Would I also require them to be rotated before the alignment? Thanks for your assistance

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Angie, Tires being noisy doesn't necessarily mean that you need an alignment. It depends on what you mean by noisy. Tires that wear unevenly, or have feathered edges can be signs of alignment problems. Have a technician look at the tires and tell you if it's the tires or alignment. Either way, you need to put good tires with the proper tire pressure on the vehicle before you have it aligned, otherwise the alignment will not be right. Lori
