Generally speaking, how long do front hub assembly & bearings last? Can they be damaged by abuse? (my truck was stolen and recovered two month ago - found stripped in the desert) I have a F-350 with 54,000 miles & have had to replace both sides on the front end. thanks for your assistance, Lene James

Patty Streeter, at AskPatty.com Lene, Depending on driving habits and driving conditions, wheel bearings can last between 100k and 200k miles. Yes, abusive driving can cause premature failure. Sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident!
