Own 2003 Buick Rendezvous with original tires & 24,000 miles. Expert advice varies as to replacement. Tires never rotated, hot AZ. temps --should they be replaced even tho tread still good? Have full size spare which has never been used. Better to purchase thru tire shop or dealer? Thus far all servicing has been done thru dealer. Thanks so much for your advice.

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Alice, If the tread is still good then check the tires for cracks, bulges or any other irregularities, if there are none then you should be okay. I would recommend that you rotate them and put the best tires on the front, the driving wheels. As for purchasing new tires...I would search and find the best price. The only concern you should have is that the wheels are torqued to the proper tightness when they are put back on the vehicle. Lori
