My 2004 VW Jetta has 60k miles & 2 days ago the check coolant light came on. I checked the coolant & it was not below the proper level. Today the light came back on & coolant scented steam was coming from under the hood where the coolant tank is. I am going to a Napa auto parts shortly to get more coolant to add until I decide where to get it fixed or what I should do with it. Do you think that this sounds like I need a new hose or a clamp needs tightening? Is it best to take my car to the dealer or somewhere else? Am I going to be ripped off either way? Help! I don't want to be ripped off because I'm a woman, & I don't want my only half paid off car to die! Thanks, Jessica
