do you know the percentage of women in the U.S. that know how to drive a manual car? I'm very curious to know. thank you.

Debbie Lee, President at Professional Car Care Sara, I do not know the answer to that question for men or women but I would hope that all young girls as they learn to drive would learn to drive standard and manual vehicles. It is not only just a plain old good idea, it is reassuring to know inside yourself that in any given problem or situation you would be capable and have the confidence to get behind the wheel and drive yourself to help or safety if needed. I would hope any woman that does not know or feel confident would have a friend give them a few lessons or practice on a side street just to get the basics down to be okay if necessary. Debbie Lee
